Reopening, with you!

From March 19 to 21, 2027, the Ixelles Museum celebrates its reopening with you during an inaugural weekend.

These reunions and encounters will mark the beginning of a new chapter that we are eager to share with you.

The reopening of the Ixelles Museum is much more than a symbolic moment. Reopening means opening a new chapter in the museum’s life: connecting nearly 135 years of history with today’s creative practices and, together with you—artists, audiences, partners, and everyone who brings it to life—writing new stories, both shared and personal, around art.

By welcoming back its many visitors, the museum reaffirms its role as a committed public institution: a place where heritage engages with contemporary practices, attentive to the issues of our time, and open to the world. A human, living, and accessible museum where discovering, feeling, and sharing art becomes a collective experience.

Ahead of the inaugural weekend, explore our collections and projects, and discover how you can support our initiatives. Practical information—opening hours, ticket prices, and booking—as well as details of exhibitions and programming will be announced soon.
